About Internet Marketing & Social Media

Build a dynamic online presence to enable pet owners to easily and quickly access relevant practice information.

Research has shown that pet owners rely heavily on the internet to help them evaluate and choose veterinary care providers. Every practice needs an effective web presence if they are going to attract and keep clients. This suite of tools will help you create a website “client-attracting machine” and help you become more social media savvy. How do you get started?

Week 1: Review the “Introduction Video” and your “Course Plan” to get you pumped up and ready for the series. Now that you are excited, proceed to “Module #1” and discover how to craft your practice’s message. For your planning, each module should be completed approximately every 2 weeks.

Week 3: Learn how to transform your website into a 10 out of 10 client-attracting machine – making it the platform on which to showcase the many great aspects of your practice, including that inspirational message. Watch “Module 2a and 2b” and take action!

Week 5: Discover the foundations of your Google Maps Ranking and the exact formula you need to follow in order to optimize your listing. Watch “Module 3a – Get On The Map”, take notes and implement what you have just learned!

Week 7: This week you will learn how to efficiently and effectively organize your staff to write high quality blog articles every other week. This technique will serve as the engine behind your practice’s website engagement and ultimately your practice’s overall client engagement. Go ahead and watch “Module 3b – Content is King” right now!

Week 9: Hopefully by now you have a content generating system set up within your practice based on the previous module’s recommendations. In this week’s Module 3a it is time to study how you actually write your blog articles in order to maximize their online impact. Go ahead and watch “Module 3c – Search Engine Visibility” right now!

Week 11: This week’s “Module 4a – Social Media 101” you will learn the most powerful social media platform on which to focus, how to create an efficient social media system within your practice, and the most common mistakes that are all too easy to make. Let this be your guide through the social media maze.

Week 13: Now that you have a Facebook system in place, how are you going to know what to post in order to create maximum engagement? You’re in luck as this week’s “Module 4b – Engagement Driven Social Media” is designed to provide powerful insights into the Facebook algorithm along with engagement focused strategies that you will be able to immediately implement.

Week 15: While the internet has brought great opportunity to the veterinary profession, it has also produced its own frustrations and potential pitfalls.Fortunately in this week’s “Module 5 – Reputation Management 101” you will learn the basic framework for monitoring your practice’s reputation and how to respond to negative reviews. While there is no silver bullet for this challenging topic, having a frame of reference for successfully handling this situation will prove helpful in relation to your own practice.
