Partners for Healthy Pets launched a national consumer ad campaign to bring more clients to your practice for yearly checkups and preventive care. The campaign includes TV, print, digital and public relations – all designed to communicate the value of yearly checkups.

In like a lion, out like a lamb! It’s your March monthly practice newsletter! This is the month of St. Patrick’s Day and of course, beware the Ides of March! In veterinary medicine, pet owners should beware of something a little closer to home…heartworm disease!

Prevent Heartworm

Here you’ll find ready-to-use Facebook posts, tweets and copy for your practice website, focusing on heartworm disease prevention. You can take them “word for word” and use them to educate your clients about the importance of yearly checkups (including heartworm disease prevention) for their pets.

Many owners may not realize that their furry friends are at risk for heartworm disease. So it’s time to check in with all of your clients (especially those inactive clients you haven’t seen in 12-18 months) to promote the critical importance of a yearly checkup. Your veterinary practice team is the best source of information on all components of preventive healthcare.
