Success Stories: Putting the Tools to Work in Your Practice

Do you want to learn ways to help your practice become even more feline-friendly and increase the satisfaction of cat owners?

Partners for Healthy Pets created a group of tools and resources to help your practice develop a stronger emphasis on felines. These tools include a web conference entitled “Becoming A Cat Friendly Practice” and CATalyst Council Cat Friendly Practice videos that are useful for staff training purposes. The link to how your practice can become AAFP-certified as a Cat Friendly Practice (CFP) is also included.

Through these tools, your practice not only will learn how to make feline patient visits as pleasant as possible, but also how to effectively communicate this message to your cat owners. You will gain skills on making a safer environment for your staff and pet owners as well.

“A real-world indication that our cat-friendly approach works is that we’ve seen a dramatic reduction in the number of bites and scratches that our staff has gotten from feline patients,” says Dr. Deana McReynolds of Broadway Veterinary Hospital and Laser Surgery Center in Seattle, WA.
