Campaign in Action

In September, the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA) kicked off their 2015 annual meeting and conference in Philadelphia not only with a bang, but also with a Ben.

At the general meeting, founding father “Benjamin Franklin” announced a proclamation to encourage all VHMA members to be Preventive Pet Healthcare Champions. The proclamation began: “Whereas, Benjamin Franklin’s most enduring axiom, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, aptly communicates the importance of preventive pet healthcare...” The document further stated the many reasons why each VHMA member should be a Preventive Pet Healthcare Champion.

The newly launched Champion’s Workbook held the spotlight in several of the conference’s presentations. It was used as a specific example of a great tool for practice managers to demonstrate leadership skills and gain new responsibilities.

The Champion’s Workbook can provide managers with the advancement tools they need to maximize their leadership opportunities within their practice. The first 1,000 VHMA members can order the Champion’s Workbook for FREE through 12/31/15. Non-members may order the Champion's Workbook for $89. Click here to order your copy today!

The Champion’s Workbook can also be ordered through the National Association of Veterinary Technicians¬†in America here.
