It’s your November monthly practice newsletter! Here you’ll find ready-to-use Facebook posts, tweets and copy for your practice website. You can take them “word for word” and use them to educate your clients about the importance of yearly checkups for their pets.

Thanksgiving is a time for gratitude and family. So many clients think of their pets as family, which is why the core message of the Partners for Healthy Pets consumer advertising campaign is “special care instructions” for our furry family members.

Let’s see how your owners do with this list for their furry companions. Feed daily? Got it! Love forever. You bet! Yearly checkups? Huh? Even the most dedicated pet owners may not realize the critical importance of yearly, comprehensive checkups.

That’s why it’s up to you to encourage your clients to schedule their pet’s yearly checkup today. You’re the only one who can obtain a complete history, perform a thorough physical exam, and discuss the best ways to keep patients well.

It’s time to check in with all of your clients (especially inactive clients you haven’t seen in 12-18 months) to talk about preventive care. Use the “Word For Word” section below to encourage your clients to make an appointment for their pet’s yearly checkup.
